Job Description
Must Haves:
- Proficiency Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks
- Experience interpreting electrical engineering schematics and designing Electrical Panel/Electrical enclosure design/Electrical cabinets
- Associates degree or higher in engineering/CAD/related - or exceeding experience level
- 5-10+ years of experience – we arent going to train someone in the software – can train how we do things
Plusses:
- Bilingual in softwares – mechanical (AutoDesk Avenger) and electrical (autoCAD Electrical) – take electrical enclosure from start to finish
- Autodesk Inventor
Day to day:
Insight Global is hiring a 3D Electrical Designer for a client in the Houston area (Jersey Village). This role will be responsible for designing various electrical components including: switchgears, electrical cabinets/enclosures, etc. They will join a team of existing designers (6 + manager) and collaborate with the engineering team for schematics/approvals on designs.
