Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist – Healthcare Staffing | Remote

🔍 What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

Accounts Receivable & Collections

• Manage weekly AR aging reports and track outstanding balances
• Conduct proactive follow-ups via phone/email to resolve past-due invoices
• Maintain accurate AR documentation and escalate overdue accounts when needed

Billing & Invoicing

• Prepare and send client invoices based on placement activity, contract details, and VMS requirements
• Confirm billable hours, rates, and assignment details with Recruiters, Credentialing, and BD
• Ensure invoicing aligns with payroll, contracts (PCL/CCL), and internal documentation

Payroll Integration

• Review payroll reports and verify alignment between provider pay and billable client hours
• Identify discrepancies early and collaborate with the Back Office team to resolve them

Financial Reporting & Month-End

• Reconcile payments, track AR activity, and prepare monthly reporting for leadership
• Assist with journal entries, month-end close, and communication with external accounting partners

🎯 Who Thrives in This Role

We’re looking for someone with:

• 3+ years in AR/AP, billing, invoicing, payroll, or accounting
• Staffing or healthcare staffing experience (strongly preferred)
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online , Excel, and familiarity with ATS/CRM tools like Salesforce or Bullhorn
• Extremely strong accuracy, organization, and follow-through
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Comfort working remote , hybrid, or on-site as needed
