Description We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. This Contract to permanent position is ideal for someone with strong accounting expertise and a proven ability to manage financial records accurately. Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining accurate financial records. - Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently. - Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate account balances. - Utilize QuickBooks software to track, organize, and report financial data. - Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review. - Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles and regulations. - Collaborate with other departments to address financial inquiries and discrepancies. - Monitor and analyze financial transactions to identify trends and discrepancies. - Assist in the preparation of tax documents and filings as needed. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles. - Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software. - Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. - Experience conducting bank reconciliations with accuracy. - Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. - Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. - Strong communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
