Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our client's team on a contract basis, providing essential financial support to a variety of clients. This role is based in Oregon City, Oregon, and offers an excellent opportunity to manage bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities: - Manage bookkeeping tasks for up to 10 clients, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date. - Record transactions from checking and credit card statements, followed by reconciling accounts to maintain accuracy. - Post journal entries to accurately document revenue and other financial activities. - Handle payroll journal entries to ensure proper recording of employee compensation. - Perform administrative tasks as needed for additional hours, supporting the overall efficiency of operations. - Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage and maintain financial data effectively. - Reconcile bank accounts to ensure all transactions are accurately reflected. - Collaborate with clients to address any discrepancies or provide financial insights. Requirements - Proven experience in bookkeeping, with the ability to manage multiple clients effectively. - Proficiency in QuickBooks Online for recording and reconciling financial data. - Strong understanding of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. - Expertise in performing detailed bank reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy. - Ability to post and manage journal entries, including those for revenue and payroll. - Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail and accuracy. - Solid communication skills to interact with clients and address financial inquiries.
