Job Description

Clarity Retail Services is seeking a  Branded Merchandise/Promotional Products Manager  to lead our growing branded merchandise team. This is a hands-on leadership role where creativity meets process — ideal for someone who loves building programs, leading people, and delivering exceptional client experiences.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor a small team managing branded apparel and promotional product programs.
• Oversee client e-commerce stores — from product selection and pricing to backend order management.
• Collaborate with sales to bring fresh, on-brand merchandise ideas to life.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Track team performance and continuously improve systems and workflows.
• Help grow the division through new ideas, products, and client opportunities.

  Team & Project Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop the branded merchandise team -setting clear goals and efficient workflows from intake through fulfillment.
• Oversee project timelines, accuracy, and communication across internal teams, clients, and vendors.
• Establish KPIs around accuracy, turnaround time, and client satisfaction.
• Conduct one-on-ones, performance reviews, and identify training needs.

Client & Program Management

• Oversee client e-commerce portals, product selection, and merchandise updates.
• Present new ideas and product trends in client meetings.
• Maintain brand consistency and manage escalations with professionalism and urgency.

Vendor & Production Oversight

• Source, vet, and manage vendors for apparel and promotional products.
• Negotiate pricing and ensure quality across all product categories and decoration methods.

Systems & Operations

• Oversee order entry, invoicing, and data accuracy.
• Manage portal structures, pricing, and reporting to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Leverage data to drive performance improvements.

Strategic Growth

• Partner with leadership to expand the branded merchandise program through new product lines, technologies, and client initiatives.
• Represent Clarity at industry events and trade shows.

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years in branded merchandise, promotional products, or apparel program management.
• Experience leading teams or projects in a creative, fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of decoration methods (embroidery, screen print, sublimation, etc.).
• Experience with e-commerce and online platforms like BrightStores, Shopify, Sage and ASI.
