Business Control Specialist (Remediation Control Specialist) | Fortune 500 Banking Client

We’re looking for a Remediation Control Specialist to join a Fortune 500 financial institution in Phoenix, AZ. If you have experience with internal controls, quality assurance, risk management, or operational support, this is an excellent opportunity to grow within a high-performing Global Operations team. This role is perfect for someone detail-oriented, analytical, and committed to process accuracy and compliance.

What You’ll Do:

• Execute internal control discipline and ensure adherence to enterprise standards
• Support operational excellence by identifying opportunities to strengthen controls
• Gather, organize, and analyze data to identify, track, and report issues
• Conduct quality reviews and assist in remediating defects
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance and business continuity practices
• Assess the effectiveness of risk and control environments
• Identify, document, and escalate quality findings promptly
• Support audit, regulatory exam, and governance preparation activities
• Enter and validate data across loan systems and multiple platforms
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to reduce risk and improve efficiency

What You Bring:

• Experience in internal controls, QA, risk, operations, or similar business control functions
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze data and identify trends
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
• Comfort navigating multiple systems and maintaining data accuracy
• A proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement and compliance

📍 Location: Phoenix, AZ 85034 (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 WFH)

💵 Pay: $24 – $26/hour on w2
