Job Description

ESC has an exciting opportunity for passionate and reliable CDL Class A and Class B Delivery Drivers to join our client’s growing team across the Midwest in either New Berlin, WI, Wausau, WI or Cedar Falls, IA. This position works Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm with OT as needed and pays $24-29 per hour based on experience and certifications held. You’ll ensure that products arrive on time, safe, and sound—all while delivering top-tier customer service.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Drive Safely: Operate Class B vehicles daily and Class A vehicles as needed. Maintain an outstanding driving record and follow all DOT and company safety procedures.
  • Vehicle Inspections: Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections. Check fluid levels and perform light maintenance like refilling washer fluid or fuel additives.
  • Load Management: Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport. Operate lift gates and use proper lifting techniques.
  • Tech in Transit: Use barcoding/RF scanning and mobile apps for tracking deliveries, proof of delivery, and communication.
  • Deliver With Care: Drive various vehicles (up to 28’ box trucks and Class A semis) to deliver products per instructions, ensuring accurate counts and proper handling.
  • Customer Service: Be a brand ambassador by representing the company with professionalism and integrity. Provide excellent service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Warehouse Support: Occasionally assist in warehouse duties including material handling and operating powered industrial trucks (pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers).
  • Stay Connected: Attend weekly driver huddles to share updates, feedback, and build team morale.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with customers, team leads, and supervisors.
  • Follow all delivery procedures and company policies.
  • Place items into designated storage areas and rotate stock as required.
  • Pick up items from customers/vendors and collect payments when needed.
  • Clean and secure your vehicle at the end of each shift, returning undelivered or returned products properly.

Requirements:

  • CDL Class A License with a valid Fed Med card and a clean driving record.
  • HazMat Certification required (or must be obtained within 90 days of hire).
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Comfortable using technology such as mobile apps and bar code scanners.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions.
  • High level of reliability, autonomy, and customer service mindset.
  • Must be physically able to perform job duties.
