About the Opportunity

A well-established construction management firm in the Dallas area is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee ground-up and large-scale renovation projects across the commercial and multifamily sectors.

This position is ideal for a motivated professional with strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be responsible for leading projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring high-quality results and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of construction projects from preconstruction planning through completion
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, and quality standards to ensure successful delivery
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead bidding, procurement, and contract negotiation processes
  • Monitor progress through regular site visits and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Review and approve change orders, pay applications, and project documentation
  • Identify potential risks or conflicts and implement proactive solutions
  • Foster strong communication between field teams, clients, and internal leadership

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing commercial or multifamily construction projects (ground-up preferred)
  • Proven experience overseeing projects from start to finish, including budgeting and scheduling
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and local building codes
  • Proficiency in Procore , Bluebeam , and MS Project (or similar software)
  • Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation
