Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee wastewater treatment plant projects in the Charlotte area. This role requires strong technical knowledge of water and wastewater systems, proven leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex civil construction projects from planning through closeout. The ideal candidate will thrive in coordinating multiple teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality results on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day management of wastewater treatment construction projects (Civil/Water/Wastewater)
• Develop, monitor, and manage project schedules, budgets, and cost control measures
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and field personnel to ensure smooth operations
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Manage RFIs, submittals, project documentation, and reporting
• Conduct site walks, proactively resolve field issues, and maintain project timelines
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, municipalities, inspectors, and other stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Experience managing wastewater or water treatment plant construction projects (Civil/Water/Wastewater)
• Strong understanding of civil, structural, and mechanical process systems
• Proven ability to lead field teams and manage subcontractors effectively
• Proficiency in project management software and project documentation
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
