Fast growing Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company is hiring a Lead Finance Manager (FP&A) in the South Bay (Los Angeles). You will report to the CFO and be in charge of Financial Planning and Analysis for a mid-market Consumer Packaged (CPG) Goods company.

The hiring manager is looking for strong business acumen and a minimum of 6 years in a successful CPG company. Would love to talk to a successful SFA looking for a manager role.

Great FP&A professionals have three attributes:

1. Drive and Confidence - The company looks to the analysts to be advisors. To advise you must seek out useful data and convert it to actionable recommendations (this takes passion for the business and focused time. Then be willing to stand behind your recommendations.
2. Business Acumen - You will be expected to understand well how the company earns profits and keep this in mind in everything you do. You must "know the numbers" better than anyone else.
3. Curiosity - The Finance team is seeking new methods and technologies. What is your experience in A.I.? What new tools or applications have YOU tried? What do you know about trends impacting the future of CPG?

Some career movement is good for career development, but it must be within CPG.

Requirements:

1. A bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, Mathematics or Engineering.
2. Excellent written and verbal skills. Confidence in presenting to executives.
3. Expertise in applications, ERP, Business Intelligence, A.I. and true applied EXPERTISE in excel.
