Demolition Laborer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a hardworking and safety-focused Demolition Laborer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to support demolition and clean-up operations at industrial aggregate plants. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in demolition, construction, or similar physically demanding work, and must be able to travel frequently for out-of-state projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform manual demolition and clean-up tasks, including debris removal, structure dismantling, and site preparation.
• Load, sort, and separate scrap materials for recycling or disposal.
• Assist equipment operators and welders as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members on work progress and site needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and participate in jobsite housekeeping.
• Travel to job sites outside of Texas the majority of the time; overnight stays may be required.
• Complete daily timecards and digital job documentation accurately and on time.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in demolition, construction, or other physically demanding labor roles required.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and tolerate dust, debris, noise, and uneven terrain.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to reporting locations.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and extended shifts.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety are required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check in accordance with applicable state and federal laws.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to perform physical labor for extended periods including lifting, bending, standing, and climbing.
• Must be able to work on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated platforms.
• Ability to work in confined spaces when required.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy materials up to 75 lbs regularly.
