Electrical Construction Superintendent

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Superintendent to lead and coordinate all on-site activities for electrical installations and system maintenance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on electrical experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, direct, and coordinate personnel and activities related to electrical system installation and maintenance.
• Supervise and direct electrical work to meet deadlines and ensure compliance with contract documents.
• Lead by example and enforce quality control and safety standards.
• Study job specifications and blueprints to determine construction methods and requirements.
• Prepare and submit Jobsite Safety Analysis (JSA), Jobsite Hazard Analysis (JHA), and safety reports.
• Track project schedules and forecast manpower needs using two-week look-ahead plans.
• Manage and request tools, materials, and supplies.
• Track and complete weekly timesheets via iPad or computer tablet.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for specialized tasks (e.g., fire alarm, nurse call).
• Oversee and assign work to electricians, apprentices, helpers, and temporary workers.
• Collaborate with trade partners, management, and contractors to resolve field issues.
• Provide input and supervise Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes.
• Train workers in methods, safety, equipment operation, and company procedures.
• Fulfill responsibilities of a licensed electrician as needed on the job.
• Maintain basic computer proficiency for documentation and communication.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) – Required
• 4–10 years of related experience OR equivalent knowledge and experience in electrical construction
• OSHA 30 certification – Required
• Experience as an Electrical Construction Superintendent – Minimum 1 year

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed Electrician – Preferred
• Valid Driver’s License – Preferred

SCHEDULE

• Monday to Friday
• Occasional travel may be required within the Southeast US region
