Job Description

As a Financial Counselor, you will:

• Conduct patient interviews and make payment arrangements
• Follow up on arrangements to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Investigate third-party payer coverage and confirm patient benefits
• Assist patients and guarantors in account payment and resolution services
• Document all calls, letters, and interviews in the patient’s file

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of Patient Access experience, ideally as a Benefit Advocate/Financial Counselor/Patient Registration
• Strong customer service and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (English and Spanish speaking is preferred)
• Strong analytical and mathematical ability
