Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Trussville, AL for a Fire Alarm Technician. The technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and testing fire alarm systems and other life safety systems. Additional responsibilities include learning to navigate fire and building codes and providing quality customer service. The role also involves collaborating with team members to ensure high-quality work and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean record.
  • Experience in low-voltage, electrical, HVAC, or related traide or technical field.
  • Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Quick learner, eager to master fire alarm systems.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Self-starter; able to work independently.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, work in confined spaces or in 40 foot lifts

Nice to Have

  • NICET, ESA, or other relevant certifications.
  • Programming or IT background for hands-on tech role.
  • Troubleshooting experience in any field.
  • Customer-facing communication skills.
  • Willingness for on-call/24/7 response shifts
