About the Role

We are a stealth U.S. startup building a high-impact software platform that will redefine operations within our target industry.

We are searching for a Founding Engineer who has previously built and shipped full software products, someone who can take ownership, work closely with the CEO, and help craft the product from the ground up.

You will be building a platform that must be secure, fast, reliable, and scalable.

Your work will shape the foundation of the company.

Responsibilities

• Build the MVP quickly while maintaining clean, modern architecture
• Write production-level frontend, backend, and database code
• Implement platform security, authentication, and data protection
• Collaborate closely with the CEO on product decisions and sprint priorities
• Build internal tools, dashboards, and new features at startup speed
• Help shape engineering culture from day one

Requirements

• Experience building software from end-to-end (solo or as a lead)
• Strong knowledge of React/Next.js, Typescript, Node.js, PostgreSQL or similar
• Ability to architect secure systems with best practices
• Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable iterating quickly
• Open to equity-only compensation during initial phase
