About the Organization
ASHwell is a nonprofit, sexual health clinic and social wellness center established in Austin, TX in the late 1980s. Clinically, we specialize in HIV treatment and prevention, Hep C treatment and STI treatment and management. Socially, we specialize in providing programming, resources and services to overcome barriers to health access with the goal of building Health Equity in Austin and Central Texas. ASHwell prioritizes providing a safe, welcoming and discrimination-free space for all, predominantly serving LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities. Position Overview
The Content Production Specialist is a member of the Strategic Advancement Department on the communications team. They support ASHwell’s mission by executing the technical and operational side of designing, composing and producing graphic content. Their work represents ASHwell’s culture and brand, is visually compelling, and maintains uniquely branded content for different projects. They will help build brand kits for events, programs, services, fundraisers and initiatives that are accessible for the communications team. The Content Production Specialist collaborates with contract illustrators and designers, program and clinical staff and the Strategic Advancement staff. They will work on a variety of projects, including social media graphics, email headers, event flyers, letterhead templates, and other branded visual assets. They report to the Associate Director of Marketing and Communications and, collaborate on plans to ensure timelines and goals are met.

ASHwell’s Graphic Content Production Specialist is an experienced design whiz who can balance our need for quality, brand aligned content with a steady pace of output for upcoming and backlogged content production needs. They are excited to work in rapidly growing, pro-sex and kink forward environment and is ready to brand build for ASHwell’s services and programs. The Content Production Specialist is enthusiastically ready to “get it right” for program and medical staff branding needs and will enjoy being of service to ASHwell staff through their work. They are a strong communicator who takes direction well and understands the baseline expectations of feedback loops and iterates their design work happily. Our Content Production specialist is a nimble designer who strives to produce content that is unique for each program/campaign, focusing on manifesting the visions of the staff they work with vs. their own in alignment with ASHwell’s existing brand and culture.
