Pay Range: $30 - $34/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key skills; CPC, CCS, Inpatient Coding, Outpatient Coding, Hospital Coding
• Top Three Skillsets needed: Strong knowledge of medical coding system, attention to detail and analytical skills, critical thinking, compliance and regulatory knowledge.
• Must have two years of continuous hospital experience in coding/abstracting within the last five years.
• Demonstrated ability to understand the clinical content of a health record.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with physicians in order to clarify diagnoses/procedures and sequencing of diagnoses.
• Must be able to meet quantity and quality standards established for Coders I.
• Basic PC skills.
• Must attain a grade of 75% on the Client coding test.
• Must maintain a minimum of ten (10) CE units annually. Must maintain current coding credential.
• Will abide by the AHIMA coding code of ethics.
• Any Required Certifications?: CCS, CPC
• Top Three things Worker will be doing: Review medical records to identify diagnoses/procedures. ICD-10-CM, CPT, Edits
• Top Three Skillsets needed: Demonstrated ability to understand the clinical content of a health record. /Clinical content knowledge, HIM and coding expertise, analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Open to remote candidates in HI, CA, WA or OR.
