Job Description
We are seeking a HIL Engineer to join our dynamic team working on Transmissions, Energy & Transportation, and Large Mining Trucks. We prioritize software quality and test all software releases in a high fidelity lab environment using a dSPACE test platform . This platform simulates all sensor inputs to the electronic system, directing actuator outputs to physical loads on the machine and providing a complete virtual environment for testing control systems.
Responsibilities
Develop and test software or automated test scripts in C or Python.
Utilize dSPACE or National Instruments Test Equipment to ensure product quality.
Employ Vector CANape, CANoe, or similar tools for system diagnostics .
Collaborate with customers to clarify requirements and troubleshoot complex testing systems.
Write sustainable and configurable code for long-term solutions.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in HIL, Python, and electrical wiring.
Experience in test automation and dSPACE systems.
Competence in Python scripting and embedded C scripting.
Familiarity with Matlab, Simulink, and embedded C.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with complex systems testing rather than single feature testing.
Ability to troubleshoot systems with hundreds of I/O channels.
Strong problem-solving skills and customer collaboration.
