Job Description

We are a McDonald's Franchise with multiple locations in the Asheville, NC and Hickory, NC markets currently seeking a diversely skilled and reliable HVAC/R Service Tech / Equipment Field Repairman to join our team. This is a full time, year round position.

The ideal candidate will possess commercial refrigeration experience and the ability to troubleshoot and repair all types of restaurant equipment including mechanical and IT. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, multi-tasking, and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Walk-in coolers and freezers
• Ice Machines
• Shake machines
• Grills and Fryers
• Toasters and ovens
• Perform preventative maintenance
• All other restaurant equipment (mechanical/IT), troubleshoot/repair/replace

Qualifications

• Valid EPA certification for HVAC/R
• Familiarity with safety regulations
• Must have a good driving record
• Experience in commercial refrigeration
• Ability to perform electrical work and read electrical schematics
• Mechanical experience
• Welding experience is a plus but not required
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
