Insurance Assistant Counsel
Chicago, IL
Salary package to $300K plus benefits and relocation
Duties Include:
- As part of the senior Management Team, the role will involve strategic planning for the firm, oversight of all contracts, claims, compliance, research and reports for the team.
- Experienced in contract negotiations, claims agreements, suppliers, broker contracts, stop loss agreements, etc.
- Partner with the underwriting, claims, producers, etc.
- Troubleshoot all settlements, fraud, subrogation and resolutions related to stop loss situations.
Candidate Should Possess:
- An Attorney, with least 8 years+ of insurance related experience (law firm and/or insurance firm)
- Strong written and verbal skills with above average computer skills
- Comfortable working in a fast moving and dynamic team-oriented environment
- Ability to work in the office
- Strong adherence to new policies and procedures directed by senior management.
