Job Description

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional service and upholding ethical standards? Our Plano-based client is in search of an IT Support Technician to join their team for a 1-year contract to hire position in Plano, TX. The IT Support Technician will respond to all requests within SLA timeframes, depending on ticket severity.

SALARY OFFERED: Up to $25/hour depending on the candidate’s experience, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the triage and execution of IT Support requests. Requests come to the IT Support team via email, phone, and ticket submissions.
  • Elevate concerns or broad issues to management.
  • Maintain operational responsibilities.
  • Adhere to policy and processes. Professionally saying “no” where appropriate.
  • Maintain discretion with sensitive tickets such as new hires, terminations, and more.
  • Support the development of team training materials.
  • Suggest and upon approval, implement changes to enhance our systems and process within ticketing system.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent MS Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail & organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
