Job Description:

Seeking a dedicated and motivated individual with strong attention to detail and organizational skills to join our Research and Development team as a Laboratory Technician . This position requires basic knowledge of laboratory duties and/or biological sciences. The candidate will perform comprehensive clinical laboratory procedures of low and high complexity as directed by the Laboratory Manager.

Core Functions:

• Prepare reagents and controls for testing.
• Perform daily and weekly maintenance of equipment per SOPs and applicable documentation.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and ensure equipment is functional (on-the-job training provided).
• Handle all tasks related to clinical sample testing (blood, urine), including:
• Sample receipt and log-in
• Sample preparation and testing
• Recording test results
• Proper disposal of samples
• Organize and maintain inventory; order supplies as needed.
• Adhere to safety standards and contribute to improving laboratory safety practices.
• Provide support to direct and extended R&D team as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Core Requirements:

• Associate Degree with 3 years of relevant experience
• OR
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or other STEM-related field with 0–2 years of experience
• Experience with urine chemistry and/or hematology diagnostic testing and instrumentation preferred
