Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Parts Manager to oversee all aspects of their parts department operations. This pivotal role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage inventory, streamline procurement processes, and deliver top-tier customer service. As a key member of the management team, the Parts Manager will be responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery of parts to support service and repair functions. What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead and support the corporate parts team, driving sales growth, inventory accuracy, and profit maximization across all local departments through hands-on guidance and collaboration.
  • Oversee companywide inventory management, including weekly stock orders, cycle counts, audits, and obsolete inventory processes to ensure optimal stocking levels and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for parts operations, communicating expectations and improvement strategies to branches to consistently meet and exceed performance metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, partnering with corporate departments (Accounting, IT, Marketing) to implement process enhancements, support aftermarket sourcing, and strengthen customer experience nationwide.

What We Need From You

  • Heavy equipment dealership experience is a must – strong understanding of parts operations within this environment is essential for success in the role.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role directly related to parts management, with proven ability to lead teams and drive performance.
  • At least 5 years of total relevant work experience in parts, inventory, or supply chain functions, ideally within the heavy equipment industry.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills with a commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
