We are seeking a highly skilled Planner to join our team in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Our client, a prominent government-supporting shipbuilding company, specializes in the construction of small crafts/boats. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, construction, shipbuilding, yachting, or DoD planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage construction schedules for small craft projects.
- Plan and oversee the construction process, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with subcontract vendors to ensure seamless integration of components and services.
- Provide detailed construction plans, including Bill of Materials (BOM) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to stay on track.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in manufacturing, construction, shipbuilding, yachting, or DoD planning.
- Strong understanding of small craft construction and the ability to manage projects.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to work effectively with subcontract vendors and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in creating and managing BOM and IMS.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
