Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Stafford, TX for a Plumbing Engineer. As a Plumbing Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing plumbing systems, ensuring water supply efficiency, coordinating with other MEP systems, and providing support for building services. This role involves working with project managers and other engineering professionals to deliver high-quality services and meet project deadlines. Candidate must be able to work independently and execute a project design from start to finish.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of plumbing design experience
• Self-motivated and self-starting individual
• Must be experienced in the design of MEP systems with commercial projects
• Must be able to transfer engineering ideas into CAD drawings using AutoCAD/Revit software
• Must be able to perform calculations for plumbing
• Must be able to specify, size, and layout plumbing piping systems, water heaters, and pumps
• Must be able to prepare basic deliverables including calculations, drawings, and specifications
• Detailed knowledge of general building construction and MEP systems is essential
• Ability to handle multiple complex assignments
• Must be able to work independently and as a team player
• Good writing and verbal skills
• Word processing and spreadsheets skills using Microsoft Office
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or plumbing design experience or experience in a related field preferred
• Professional engineering licensure is a plus
