About the Role:
Jefferson Millwork & Design is seeking a skilled Production Mechanic to join our team. This role focuses on precision woodworking, specialized fabrication, and the installation of hardware components that bring custom millwork to life. Working closely with assembly and production teams, the Production Mechanic plays a vital part in ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail in every project.
Key Responsibilities:
•Perform woodworking tasks such as miter folds, profile routing, glue-ups, layups/decking, and sanding.
•Map and mark locations for specialty hardware during the layout process.
•Install hardware including pulls, drawer systems, trash rollouts, locks, and other specialty details.
•Support Assembly Technicians as needed to maintain workflow and efficiency.
•Ensure quality standards are met at every stage of fabrication and installation.
Skills & Qualifications:
•Experience in woodworking or millwork production preferred.
•Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with woodworking tools and processes.
•Ability to read and follow technical drawings and layouts.
•Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and craftsmanship.
•Capable of working independently as well as within a team environment.
•Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
