Role Description

This is a full-time Project Management Coordinator role located in Lewisburg, WV, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Project Management Coordinator will be responsible for designing, developing, validating and documenting products; applying engineering principals to achieve product optimization and execution; creating product designs from sketches, marking up prints, verbal or written instructions and/or customer requirements; providing engineering services required to support sales orders, quotations, design accuracy, shop information requirements and Engineering Department product by performing the following duties.

Duties

  • Provide engineering support for the routine daily operation of the business.

  • Engineering support requires collaboration and interpersonal skills necessary to work with operations, maintenance, sales and other groups within the business.

  • Data management point of contact in North America for Harvia Data Management Team. Creates and enriches items within Microsoft D365 environment for Harvia US.

  • Custom Cut Sauna program engineering process owner. Completes drawings, quotes, and final cutlist for production on sold sauna kits.

  • Create and maintain manuals for AHS sauna kits and items.

  • Harvia US representative on Harvia Global Quality Team. Report and present data at monthly global team meeting. Schedule and organize local quality team meetings to review local quality data.

  • Answer technical inquiries for the sales and customer service team, make technical recommendations, provide equipment and system troubleshooting for maintenance, improve design engineering tools and develop design engineering procedures.

  • Provide engineering analysis and evaluation of minor engineering projects. In some instances, responsible for design, management and execution of said projects.

  • Coordinate and cooperate with other departments, particularly Sales and Manufacturing, to help facilitate communications and operations within the company.

  • Perform engineering design and analyzes as required to assure and maintain structural and mechanical integrity of new and existing products.

  • Review and approve changes to drawings of existing products and components.

  • Initiate “Corrective Action Requests” when a change is made to an existing standard product.

  • Create and maintain plant policy and procedure documents.

  • Facilitate process and continued improvement.

Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformance relating to product, process and systems.

Implement interim processes as required to correct or contain all non-conformances.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Strong background in product design
  • Manufacturing environment experience is a plus
  • Product-focused creative thinking
  • In-depth knowledge of industry design principles
  • Strong working knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) or engineering software
  • Impeccable attention to detail
