Are you passionate about the beauty industry and love creating a welcoming environment for others? Our salon is looking for a motivated and organized team member to join us as a Salon Assistant! This role is essential to the daily operations of our space and directly contributes to the seamless experience we provide to every client.

About the Role:

As the first point of contact for our clients, you’ll help manage appointments, maintain the salon’s appearance, and support our stylists behind the scenes. You’ll also play a key role in capturing and sharing our work on social media. Success in this position looks like a smoothly run salon, satisfied clients, happy stylists, and an engaging online presence that reflects our artistry and care.

Responsibilities:

• Greet clients warmly and manage check-in/check-out, including booking, rescheduling, and processing payments
• Maintain a clean, organized environment by sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and restocking supplies
• Monitor and manage salon inventory (e.g., retail products, hair color, and tools) and communicate when items are running low
• Assist stylists by mixing color formulas, passing tools, and ensuring clients are comfortable during services
• Capture behind-the-scenes content for our social media (photos/videos of client transformations, daily salon life, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Friendly and professional demeanor with a customer-first mindset
• Interest in beauty, hairstyling, or salon operations (experience is a plus, but not required)
• Comfortable using phones, booking systems, and social media platforms (Instagram experience is a plus!)
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and take initiative
