Contract Type: 10-Month Contract (August 2025 – June 2026)
Hourly Pay Rate: $57/hour
Job Description:
We are seeking qualified and experienced School Psychologists to join the Testing/Evaluation Team in a school-based setting in Charlotte, North Carolina , for the 2025–2026 school year . These are full-time, W-2 contract positions offering a competitive hourly rate of $57/hour .
As a member of the school’s evaluation team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychological assessments, supporting eligibility determination, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote academic and social-emotional success for students in a K–12 environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services
- Administer, score, and interpret cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral assessments
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop intervention strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to eligibility discussions
- Support the development and implementation of IEPs
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
- Provide consultation to school staff on student learning, behavior, and mental health
Qualifications (Required):
- Valid North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) License in School Psychology
- Certified by the North Carolina Psychology Board (supervision cannot be provided)
- Master’s degree (or higher) in School Psychology
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong understanding of assessment tools, special education law, and MTSS/RTI frameworks
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
