Title : Scrum Master (Banking domain) - local
Location : Greensboro, NC
Salary : $120,000 – $155,000 annually
Banking and payments experience, especially knowledge of SWIFT, FED, CHIPS or ACH
Position Summary:
- This Scrum Master will provide day-to-day hands-on project management for various projects in support of application development. The Scrum Master will have an in-depth knowledge and experience with complex IT solutions, Agile and Scrum Methodology, a proven track record of delivering projects on-time and within budget and serves as a key resource within the team to ensure overall success of the project deliverables.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or other related field
- Scrum Master Certification
- Experience using Jira and Confluence required; Miro experienced preferred
- 5+ years related IT management experience in analysis, design, development, documentation, implementing and testing of software systems
- 5+ years' experience in technology project management and 3-to-4-year Scrum Master Experience
- Experience managing agile development projects as a SCRUM Master
- Experience with complex, mission critical system design and evaluating and proposing alternative software designs
- Thorough knowledge of and experience in secure development practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to set priorities and handle multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor and ability to work effectively with other staff within the organization
- Highly motivated, organized, enthusiastic and self-starter.
- Banking and payments experience, especially knowledge of SWIFT, FED, CHIPS or ACH
Qualifications desired:
- Experience in wholesale or retail banking technology
- Experience developing or migrating applications to Cloud Environments (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with Product Management, Operations & Technology, manage projects through their complete lifecycle and work with scrum teams to drive agility
- Assist with requirements documentation, User Story creation, develop detailed project plans, and identify tasks, roles and responsibilities
- Track milestones and dependencies, ensure on-time completion of tasks from all groups
- Proactively identify, mitigate and resolve risks and issues
- Ensure PMO processes are followed, all relevant artifacts are produced and filed properly
- Manage and report on project financials
- Keep senior management apprised of project status and communicate issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Program Management Office to provide project status
