Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly capable Senior Import/Export Coordinator to join our team in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in international logistics, particularly in ocean, air, and rail freight , and will play a key role in managing global shipments and supporting our customers in the renewable energy space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage international shipments via ocean, air, and rail from origin to final delivery
- Prepare and process documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and airway bills
- Ensure full compliance with U.S. Customs, FMC, and international trade regulations
- Work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and overseas agents to track and manage cargo
- Manage FTZ, bonded, and safe harbor warehouse documentation and compliance requirements
- Prepare pricing proposals and manage customer RFQs (Request for Quotations)
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to provide logistics solutions tailored to the renewable energy sector
- Maintain accurate shipment records, reporting, and data management within TMS/ERP platforms
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in international logistics, import/export coordination, or freight forwarding
- Deep knowledge of ocean, air, and rail freight
- Experience working with FTZs, bonded warehousing, and safe harbor strategies
- Familiarity with Incoterms, customs documentation, and global compliance procedures
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience in pricing and managing international RFQs
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
- Prior experience in renewable energy logistics or project cargo is a significant plus
