About the Role

We are seeking a  highly experienced Family Law Paralegal to support our litigation team in a  full-time, in-office capacity. This is not an entry-level opportunity — we are looking for a seasoned paralegal with a deep understanding of New York matrimonial law and courtroom preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and review pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and settlement agreements
• Manage and organize discovery, including document requests, responses, and production
• Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and summaries for litigation
• Coordinate court filings and service of process
• Maintain case files, docketing, and calendar management
• Interface professionally with clients, court staff, experts, and opposing counsel
• Provide proactive litigation support directly to the head partner and, as needed, to other attorneys in the firm

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of recent, substantive experience as a paralegal in  New York matrimonial/family law
• Demonstrated ability to manage discovery and trial preparation independently
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume legal setting
• Professional demeanor and commitment to client confidentiality
