Salary: $2079 / Week Amergis Staffing is currently seeking Special Education Teachers for the 2025/2026 school year in the Santa Barbara, CA area. The Special Education Teacher, under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator provides quality services to special education students, kindergarten through grade 12. The Special Education Teacher has a commitment to team participation in planning and implementation of student programs including special instruction, tutorial assistance and consultation with general education staff. Position Details: Pay: $3916 Weekly (Travel candidates for 50+ miles) Local Pay: $2812 Weekly Schedule: Monday - Friday Hours/Week: 37.5 hours Weekly Start Date: August 2025 Length: 2025/2026 School Year Minimum Requirements: + Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred + Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations + Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred + State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred + State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Secondary Teaching preferred + State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teaching preferred + Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred + Current CPR if applicable + TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age Amergis Advantages Weekly pay through direct deposit We have offices in most major cities across the country Premium pay rates with tax advantage compensation Health/Dental/Vision Insurance available on 1 st of month Weekly pay through direct deposit Fully furnished, private housing available (pets are welcomed) Expense reimbursement for travel and state licensure available Accessible via office phone, email, or text Emergency, On-call line, available 24/7 Feel free to contact me if you are interested.
