We’re partnering with a school district in Muskegon County, Michigan to hire a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2025–2026 school year . This is an in-person position , supporting elementary students (K–3) with speech and language needs.
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide assessment, intervention, and consultation services to students in kindergarten through 3rd grade. The SLP will collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ communication development and ensure services align with IEP goals. This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys working with younger learners in a collaborative school setting.
Position Details

- Number of Vacancies: 1
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Daily Hours: Approximately 8:20 AM – 3:50 PM
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: Full-time (school-based schedule)
- Caseload: Approximately 40–50 students
- Grade Levels: Kindergarten–3rd Grade
- School Year: 2025–2026
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings for referred students.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services individually and in small groups.
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals related to speech, language, and communication.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance with IDEA requirements.
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
Qualifications
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Michigan (required).
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
- Knowledge of school-based service delivery models and IEP processes.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to student-centered, evidence-based practice.
