Spring Semester - Medical Sales Intern:

Spring Semester Medical Equipment Sales internship, starting February - May. 

*opportunity to continue through the summer based on availability and performance. 

* unpaid with opportunity for performance-based bonuses

*we are happy to complete any documentation to support university credit

• The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a significant interest in the medical equipment sales industry
• Morningside Medical Equipment strives to maintain a positive and productive environment and we are looking for Interns who embody these characteristics
• Must have a genuine commitment to customer service and a passion for learning the complexities of the medical equipment industry 
• Should have superior communication and organizational skills
• Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Candidate must have a desire to learn the sales process, customer retention software, and other related systems
• In many ways, this role is an Apprenticeship in Sales, working closely with sales leadership that has 15 years of experience in the industry
• This internship is perfect for any student looking for an ideal learning environment that is not just a large office with cubicles

Responsibilities

• This is not a remote position; intern is responsible for being physically present at the office, on time, during the agreed-upon schedule
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in and outside of the office
• Will work closely with our sales leadership to develop and execute business strategies, generate new marketing assets, and help build relationships with Morningside Medical Equipment leads and customers
• Learn the standard of customer service excellence and consistently provide this in all communication
• Attain a strong understanding of the medical equipment industry as a whole, and where Morningside Medical Equipment fits
• Learn and employ a comprehensive understanding of the sales process
• Establishing clear and realistic personal goals in relation to the entire team and Morningside Medical Equipment as a company
• Exemplify a disciplined approach to completing all daily and weekly goals
• Ability to perform cold calls
• Ability to travel and participate in Medical Sales Conferences (all costs related to this covered by Morningside Medical Equipment)
