Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Senior Estimator to join our team in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating for industrial projects, particularly warehouses, automotive energy facilities, and manufacturing/distribution centers.
Key Responsibilities: - Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for industrial projects.
- Consult with clients, vendors, and personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
- Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors.
- Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
- Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
- Review material and labor requirements to decide the most cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain records of estimated and actual costs.
