Overview

A high-volume, compliance-driven compounding pharmacy in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex is seeking an experienced Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity. This role offers competitive hourly pay, a potential sign-on bonus, predictable scheduling, and hands-on work in a modern USP <797>-compliant cleanroom environment .

This opportunity is ideal for licensed pharmacy technicians who want long-term stability, consistent workflows, and the ability to focus on sterile compounding in a professionally managed production setting.

Position Highlights

  • Pay Range: $26.00–$32.00 per hour (based on experience)
  • Sign-On Bonus: Up to $5,000 (experience dependent)
  • Employment Type: Full-time, Direct Hire
  • Shifts: Multiple shifts available
  • Environment: Category 3 sterile cleanroom

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare sterile compounded medications according to formulations, SOPs, and batch records
  • Measure, weigh, count, and compound sterile pharmaceutical products
  • Perform sterile compounding functions in a Category 3 cleanroom
  • Mix pharmaceutical preparations using formulation logs and repeater pumps
  • Set up sterile products for dispensing and complete required documentation
  • Maintain USP <797> cleanroom standards, including cleaning and sanitization
  • Manage inventory, labeling, lot tracking, and expiration documentation
  • Clean equipment and sterilize glassware using autoclaves or dry heat ovens
  • Support inspections, audits, and quality control processes
  • Meet established productivity and efficiency metrics while maintaining quality
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and HIPAA requirements

Qualifications

  • Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License (required)
  • Minimum 1 year of sterile compounding experience
  • Working knowledge of sterile compounding concepts and principles
  • Experience operating repeater pumps
  • Familiarity with cleanroom documentation and compliance standards
