We are looking for a dedicated Attorney to join our construction litigation team in Baltimore, Maryland. This role provides a unique opportunity to support commercial construction companies through legal counsel while working alongside an experienced and detail-oriented group. The position combines in-office collaboration with some remote flexibility and offers competitive compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities:
• Handle commercial litigation cases, including dispute resolution and motions practice.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft high-quality legal documents.
• Represent clients during court appearances and other legal proceedings.
• Collaborate closely with supervising attorneys to develop case strategies.
• Provide legal counsel to clients within the commercial construction industry.
• Stay informed about construction law principles to enhance expertise.
• Ensure attention to detail in all aspects of case management.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure clarity and understanding.
• Manage billable hour requirements while maintaining high-quality work standards.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial litigation, with additional experience welcomed.
• Admission to the Maryland Bar is mandatory
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Familiarity with construction law or a willingness to learn.
• High level of motivation and attention to detail.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
