Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina. This Contract to permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to manage important financial and administrative tasks within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be skilled in bookkeeping and accounting processes, as well as eager to take on additional responsibilities in payroll and HR administration. Responsibilities: - Perform accurate bookkeeping functions, including managing accounts payable and receivable. - Utilize QuickBooks to handle financial transactions and maintain records. - Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies. - Manage administrative tasks such as scanning invoices and receipts, and coordinating with project managers. - Work with Procore software to oversee construction-related accounting processes. - Support payroll processing and assist with HR-related administrative duties. - Generate financial reports and provide insights to management. - Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations. - Identify opportunities for improving accounting processes and operational efficiency. - Collaborate with team members to address administrative and financial needs. Requirements - Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting within a detail-oriented environment. - Proficiency in QuickBooks for financial management and reporting. - Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. - Familiarity with Procore or similar construction accounting software. - Ability to handle administrative tasks with precision and attention to detail. - Experience in payroll processing and HR administration is preferred. - Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage various responsibilities. - Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
