What We Do/Project

As a Workday Reporting Analyst, you will help turn complex data into clear, actionable intelligence through the medium of Workday Reporting. You will use your proficiency in Workday to design and build reports/dashboards to connect insights to our end users.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards in Workday to meet the needs of our data customers. You will be collaborating with our COEs, Business Partners and Enterprise Technology to provide data insights and reporting solutions.

The ideal candidates will combine technical expertise in Workday reporting tools, HCM domain knowledge and communication skills to get the right data to the right people. You will be detail-oriented, experienced in project implementations and able to follow documentation standards and best practices.

Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role
Provide subject matter expertise on Workday reporting tools to help map business requirements to the right tooling
Support our Workforce Analytics Teams by offering up qualified and often enriched Workday data for given use cases
Assist with BAU reporting needs, handling change requests and dealing with incidents/service requests where specialist input is needed to find a resolution
Ensure the highest level of data quality of deliverable through robust testing and data validations
Accountable to deliver on a portfolio of strategically important P&C data projects/initiatives that can span across multiple business functions
Engage with P&C Partners and COEs to optimize existing reports to pinpoint standardization opportunities and drive efficiency, performance and usability
Promote a strong data culture within P&C to drive data engagement and literacy so teams feel empowered to make data-driven decisions
Additional duties as assigned This role will be working with Sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (SPII).

Must Have Skills / Requirements
1) WorkDay Reporting
a. 5+ years of experience; Report Writer, Absence, Time Tracking, Calculated Fields, and Compensation reporting are essentials in this role.
2) Functional Expertise in Excel
a. 5+ years of experience; Pivot Tables, Excel Functions, and Data Validation within Excel
3) Experience Tracking Work with a Cloud-Based WorkFlow Automation Platform (ServiceNOW, Monday.com, Jira, etc.)
a. 5+ years of experience; High levels of organization when managing multiple projects and workflows; Communicative with stakeholders; Prioritization skills.

Nice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements
1) WorkDay PRISM Experience
2) Tableau Experience for Dashboarding

Soft Skills:
1) Proven expertise as an SME in the Workday Reporting and Prism Analytics space with hands-on experience in Workday Reports; including Advanced, Matrix & Composite report types
2) Experience with Dashboarding in Workday; exposure to Discovery Boards is beneficial
3) Proven track record in delivering on large scale HR transformations projects; in a consulting capacity preferred
4) In-depth knowledge of the Workday Object Model, Workday Report Writer and Calculated Field development
5) Good grasp of leading practices when it comes to Workday Report development; report type selection, data access methods, naming conventions etc.
6) Ability to drive requirements gathering to capture business needs and translate them Workday solutions
7) Knowledge and understanding of key finance / HR processes relating to position management/workforce planning and the employee journey (onboarding, retention, separation etc.)
8) Knowledge of Workday Security and how that can impact report design and data access
9) Excellent problem-solving capabilities
10) Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate complex HR system concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Technology Requirements:
1) Expertise in data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and knowledge of data visualization tools and platforms (ideally Tableau)

Education / Certifications
1) Workday HCM Certified (Pro or Implementer)
2) Workday Advanced Reporting Certified (Pro or Implementer)
3) Workday Prism Certified (Pro or Implementer)
