Job Description

Pride Health is seeking an Athletic Trainer to support a school-based athletic program in Minot, ND 58701 . This is a 30-week Rapid Response Crisis Contract , ideal for an experienced and certified Athletic Trainer ready to provide high-quality care across multiple sports and events.

Job Summary:

The Athletic Trainer will serve as the primary healthcare provider for a local school district’s athletic programs. This role focuses on injury prevention, evaluation, rehabilitation, concussion management, and emergency response. The position requires schedule flexibility to support days, evenings, weekends, and holiday athletic coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site coverage for athletic practices, games, and events.
  • Perform injury prevention, assessment, diagnosis, and rehabilitation for student-athletes.
  • Document all injuries, treatments, and athlete progress according to program standards.
  • Educate athletes, coaches, and parents on injury prevention and safe training techniques.
  • Collaborate with physicians and sports medicine professionals as needed.
  • Manage concussion evaluations, monitoring, return-to-play protocols, and emergency care.
  • Provide occasional support to other Athletic Trainers within the program.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and professional environment for all athletes.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or a related field.
  • BOC Certification (Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers).
  • Minimum 2 years of Athletic Training experience .
  • Ability to obtain a North Dakota Athletic Trainer License .
  • Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holiday coverage.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in school-based or multi-sport athletic environments.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and clinical evaluation skills.

  • Location: Minot, ND 58701
  • Contract Length: 30 weeks
  • Schedule: Variable days/evenings/weekends according to athletic events

  • Travel Gross Pay: $1700 - $1880/ Weekly
  • Local Pay: $35 - $42/ Hour

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
