Job Description

Airswift is seeking a Construction Project Manager to represent the company in the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) project. This role involves overseeing the construction and installation of 176 wind turbine generators, three offshore substations, and associated cables and equipment located 27 miles off the coast of Virginia Beach.

The Project Manager will ensure the successful delivery of the Transportation & Installation (T&I) package, working closely with internal teams and contractors to meet scope, schedule, and budget objectives.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Engineering Technology (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 7 years of project management experience, with at least 4 years in construction or maritime project management.
• Strong background in maritime construction or heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of marine, mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, documents, and management reports.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Offshore work capability may be required.

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage the scope, schedule, and budget of the T&I package.
• Interface with the T&I prime contractor to ensure transportation, maintenance, installation, and commissioning meet Owner’s requirements.
• Lead and manage multiple work fronts in a dynamic offshore environment.

Preferred Experience:

• Direct experience in offshore wind projects.
• Background in construction project management within the energy sector.
