Entry Level Litigation Paralegal – On-Site, Stamford, CT  

 

Position Summary  

Levi & Korsinsky , LLP is a national firm with offices in New York, Washington D.C., and Connecticut. We are seeking a candidate who will provide administrative and litigation support to the Stamford, CT-based securities litigation team. We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal who is capable of working both collaboratively and autonomously with this successful litigation team. 

 

Our firm primarily represents aggrieved shareholders in class action and derivative litigation through the vigorous prosecution of corporations that have committed securities fraud and boards of directors who have breached their fiduciary duties. We have served as Lead and Co-Lead Counsel in many precedent–setting litigations, recovered millions of dollars for consumers and shareholders. Our legal team has a long and successful track record of litigating high-stakes, resource-intensive cases and consistently achieving results for our clients. 

 

Responsibilities  

  • Support attorneys in all phases of litigation, from inception through settlement 
  • Draft, proofread, and e-file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents 
  • Conduct legal and factual research 
  • Organize and maintain case files 
  • Cite check case law 
  • Monitor court deadlines and manage calendars 
  • Prepare tables of contents and tables of authorities for briefs 
  • Organize and format exhibits 
  • Assist with client intake 
  • Manage day-to-day office duties including printing, creating binders, sorting mail, ordering supplies 

 

Qualifications  

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading experience 
  • At least 2 years litigation experience with Federal and State courts experience is preferred 
  • Entry-level candidates will be considered 
  • Familiarity with Federal and State rules of civil procedure and local court rules is preferred 

 

Work Location  

  • On site in Stamford, CT 

 

Schedule  

  • Monday-Friday from 9am to 6pm
