Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with fewer than 5 years of professional experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in SolidWorks, capable of performing engineering simulations, and eager to contribute to product development from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks.
• Perform engineering simulations (structural, thermal, or fluid flow) to validate designs.
• Support prototype development, testing, and design iterations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and project management.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with company and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) from an ABET-accredited university .
• Proficiency in SolidWorks for modeling and drafting.
• Experience with simulation tools (SolidWorks Simulation, ANSYS, or similar).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• 0–5 years of relevant mechanical design experience.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Hands-on prototyping or manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of GD&T and engineering standards.
• Familiarity with FEA or CFD beyond SolidWorks capabilities.
