Our client, a leading biotech company based in the Bay Area, is seeking an experienced legal executive to head its Patent Litigation function. This is a rare opportunity to shape global IP litigation strategy in a cutting-edge, science-driven environment.

What You'll Do:

• Lead global patent litigation strategy and manage a team of attorneys.
• Oversee complex IP litigation, including Hatch-Waxman and BPCIA biosimilar matters.
• Advise senior leadership on litigation risks and strategies.
• Manage external counsel and litigation budgets.

What You Bring:

• 12+ years of litigation experience, including deep expertise in managing complex life sciences patent litigation.
• JD and U.S. bar admission in good standing.
• BPCIA biosimilars experience, ideally both in court and at the PTAB
• Demonstrated success managing complex litigation portfolios.
• Experience in team and litigation management.
• Experience working in or advising global teams and navigating matrixed environments.

Preferred: Undergraduate degree or advanced degree in biology or chemistry.
