Title: Site Supervisor I or II

Location: Archdale, NC with travel to field locations daily.

Duration: Permanent

Must Haves:

• Background in the environmental industry.
• Experienced with physically demanding outdoor work.
• Experienced with confined space entry.
• Experienced with light and heavy equipment including, but not limited to: pumps, vacuum equipment, oil spill booms, generators, skid steers, blaster equipment, etc.

Preferred:

• Lead or supervisor experience.
• Experienced working with Hazardous and non-Hazardous waste.

Day to Day:

• Scope worksites, assist PM with estimates for time and equipment needs.
• Manifesting and waste management as it applies to our industry.
• Manage multiple worksites and crews.
• Basic understanding of PIT operations including basic profiles
• Participate on Safety Committee at least once a quarter
• Identify chemical and physical hazards for each job. Provide PPE requirements for crew.
• Reviews all job-required paperwork, i.e. daily time reports, health & safety plan, field sheets, expenses, etc., in order to have a full understanding of scope of work to be performed. Supervisor shall begin job setup with required tools, supplies and equipment, obtaining them from the supply warehouse/shop.
• Participate in all evaluations for Environmental techs.
• Work with PM in case of job required equipment or supplies.
• Maintains proper communication with all customers and immediately report any questions or concerns to the Resource Manager or Project Manager.
• Ensures safe working conditions at job sites.
• Alerts the appropriate departments for maintenance or repair of equipment.
• Turns in job folder at the conclusion of the project or on a weekly basis for long term work, as well as any job-incurred expense reports.
• Returns all unutilized supplies and tools to the warehouse/shop.
