Job Description

Job Title : Surgical Technologist (Rocky Hill, CT)

Responsibilities/Job Duties :

• Performs surgical team functions under the supervision of OR Nurse
• Assists in prepping OR room and equipment for procedures
• Keeps track of instruments, sponges and needles during procedure
• Assumes responsibility for proper handling of specimen, asking surgeon for instructions necessary
• Decontaminates surgical instruments and equipment

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements :

• Active CST
• BLS
• Prior experience working as a surgical technologist

Schedule/ Shift : Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm
