About the Role : We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our healthcare team.

Responsibilities :

  • Performs cardiac ultrasound examinations according to physician's orders, utilizing a variety of complex ultrasound equipment.
  • Objectively identifies the presence of or absence of disease utilizing a thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
  • Assists physicians with more invasive echocardiography examinations including, but not limited to, Transesophageal echocardiography, Trans-catheter echo guided procedures (location specific), pericardiocentesis, echo guided myocardial biopsies (location specific), contrast enhanced exams, exercise and pharmacological stress echocardiography.
  • Has the ability to modify procedures, to meet special circumstances and/or provide clinically useful information on a cost-effective basis.

Qualifications :

  • Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer
  • Upon hire: National Registered Cardiac Sonographer - Cardiovascular Credentialing International
  • Or Upon hire: National Advanced Cardiac Sonographer - Cardiovascular Credentialing International
  • Or Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Required Skills :

  • Associate's degree: Applied Science, from a CAAHPE accredited school in Noninvasive Cardiovascular Technology, or Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • One year: Experience performing cardiovascular ultrasound examinations, OR Minimum of 800 exams using all imaging modalities available.
  • Pediatric echocardiography experience.
  • Familiarity with imaging support of advanced heart failure patients (mechanical support devices).
  • Experience with echo guided trans-catheter procedures.

Pay range and compensation package : Base Salary up to $144,300 per annum. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
