Job Description

Join the CLIA lab of a passionate non-profit organization that makes a positive impact on the lives of countless patients. This certified Medical Technologist will perform Hematology and Flow Cytometry analysis on patient samples.

Schedule: Mon-Friday ( no weekends or holidays)

Responsibilities

• Process, examine, and test patient samples using a flow cytometer and hematology analyzer, and document test results according to GDP and GMP.
• Perform data analysis of processed samples.
• Manage Send-out tests, testing supplies, reagents, etc.
• Check quality control and verify test method ranges for standards and references. Maintain / troubleshoot instrumentation.
• Collaborate with and assist other laboratory team members as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified Medical Technologist with Hematology experience
• Ideal experience: 1+ year of Flow Cytometry experience, using a flow cytometer
• Also open to core lab experience doing blood banking and hematology
• Florida state certified Medical Technologist (Medical Laboratory Technologist certification)
• Strong documentation skills
• Ability to follow written procedures and work processes
• Proficient computer skills, communication skills, and customer service skills

Important Information

• Position is Contract-to-Hire
• Weekdays-only schedule, no weekends or holidays
• CLIA Lab team size of 5-6 people
