We’re currently seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to help students develop the functional skills they need to succeed in school and beyond.

Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapist will assess and support students whose physical, developmental, or sensory needs interfere with their educational performance. The therapist will work closely with students, teachers, and families to create and implement strategies that foster independence, participation, and success in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students' fine motor, sensory, and functional needs in educational settings.
  • Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with students’ IEP or 504 goals.
  • Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students and staff.
  • Collaborate with special education and general education teams to support student development.
  • Recommend and assist in using adaptive equipment and classroom modifications.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all legal, ethical, and school district guidelines.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on goals and accommodations.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure and NBCOT certification.
  • Experience working with school-aged children (preferred).
  • Knowledge of IDEA, IEP processes, and educational best practices.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting.
  • Bilingual skills a plus.
  • Familiarity with sensory integration, assistive technology, and handwriting interventions.
